EMISnap ("we", "us") runs emisnap.com. Set out below is what we do with information and what you can choose. In one line: the loan amount, interest rate and term you enter are handled inside the browser and never leave your device.

What this policy applies to

The tool this page covers is EMISnap, an EMI and mortgage calculator. Put simply, it finds the monthly instalment for a mortgage, car loan or personal loan and shows the full amortisation schedule, and the way it does so is this: it uses the standard reducing-balance formula where the payment depends on principal, monthly rate and term, and it splits every instalment into the interest and principal portions so you can see the balance fall. Everything stated here applies to that tool and the values it handles, and to nothing else.

Everything the tool works with — the loan amount, interest rate and term you enter — is handled locally. It is usually reached for things like checking whether an extra payment shortens the term, and because nothing is transmitted a visitor can close the tab knowing no copy was made anywhere.

Data you give the tool

Every result here is produced by JavaScript running in your browser. Your inputs are used only to render the answer on the page: they are not transmitted to a server, stored, sold, or shared. What our statistics cover

Where analytics are enabled they record aggregate usage only — page views and approximate region. We do not build individual profiles, and analytics providers are never given access to what you enter into the tool.

Financial figures you enter

Money figures are among the things people least want shared, and they are handled accordingly: no balance, rate or contribution leaves the browser at any point in the calculation.

Retention and security

Because your inputs are never transmitted, there is no store of personal measurements to retain or protect. Standard security practice applies to the site itself, including HTTPS on every page.
