Since EMISnap is an EMI and mortgage calculator, most of what arrives concerns seeing how much of the first year goes to interest — and the occasional result that seems off. Either is welcome here.

Reporting a wrong result
An incorrect figure on EMISnap is worth reporting, because the method is not a secret: it uses the standard reducing-balance formula where the payment depends on principal, monthly rate and term, and it splits every instalment into the interest and principal portions so you can see the balance fall. If your result disagrees with that, either an input fell outside the model or a rounding case was missed — send the numbers and we will reproduce it.
